We spent some time exploring the Golden Circle and the snowmobiling activity took about 3–4 hours in total (including transport to the glacier; I think the snowmobiling activity itself was about one hour) It might be better to avoid this time of year (mid to late December) as the sun sets quite early (we didn’t manage to spend much time at the Geysir).
